Approving or Declining Leave Requests

How managers review and action employee leave requests.

Managing Leave Requests

When an employee submits a leave request, you'll receive an in-app notification and an email summary. You can review and action requests from the dashboard.

Finding Pending Requests

Go to Team → Availability Requests. All pending requests are shown here with the employee's name, leave type, dates, and any note they included.

Approving

Click Approve. The employee will be notified immediately by email and push notification. Their leave block is added to their profile and visible on the roster.

Declining

Click Decline. You'll be prompted to enter a brief reason (required). The employee will receive a decline notification with your reason included, so they can plan accordingly.

Viewing Leave History

You can view all historical approved leave in the Reports → Leave Summary report, filterable by employee, leave type, and date range.
