Managing the Timesheet Queue

Every clock-out generates a timesheet record. Managers must review and approve these before they flow into payroll calculations.

Accessing Timesheets

Navigate to Timesheets in the dashboard. You'll see all pending timesheets grouped by employee, with their scheduled time vs. their actual clocked time side-by-side.

Approving Normally

If the actual time matches the shift (within reason), click Approve. You can bulk-approve multiple timesheets at once using the checkboxes.

Editing Before Approval

If an employee forgot to clock out, or clocked in at the wrong time, click the timesheet row to open the edit panel. You can manually set the exact clock-in or clock-out time before approving. All edits are logged with a timestamp and the manager's name for audit purposes.

Unscheduled Timesheets

If an employee clocked in outside their scheduled hours (e.g., an emergency call-in), the timesheet is flagged as Unscheduled and must be individually reviewed and explicitly approved before it can count toward payroll.
