Change an existing roster shift

Managers and Organisation Admins with roster access can edit shifts. Select the correct location and week before changing a record.

Edit and save

  1. Open Team Roster on desktop and select the shift.
  2. Review its staff member, day, start and finish, location, roles, unpaid break and notes. Change the required fields.
  3. Check whether the shift is Published or Draft (Unpublished). Published shifts are visible to staff.
  4. For an assigned published shift, review Notify this team member when saved (in-app and push).
  5. Choose Save Changes and check the saved roster.

Delete a shift

Roster Mobile also supports shift edits using its own controls. Its edit form does not include the desktop notification checkbox.

Use the shift's delete control, check the staff member and times in Delete Shift?, then choose Yes, Delete. Cancel if the details are wrong. Deleting a roster shift is different from correcting recorded working hours; review any existing timesheet separately.

Staff notifications for edits depend on the notification choice, so do not assume every saved change automatically alerts the person. Check the roster audit history if you need to understand a previous change.
