Managing Feature Access and Industry Setup

Choose which optional features an organisation can use

Super Admin controls feature availability. An industry connection describes where a tool can be useful; it does not grant access or enable an existing organisation automatically. Account roles and location access still apply.

Enable a feature for an existing organisation

1. Open Super Admin → Org Permissions and select the organisation.
2. Find the feature and review its available role controls. Enable only the intended access.
3. Save the changes and check the organisation's normal dashboard. Where the feature has its own organisation switch or capability settings, configure those separately.
4. For shared Operations tools, open Operations Workspace outside Security or Security Workspace for Security. For checklists, open Task Lists & Inspections.

Organisation-wide tools have an availability control as well as any required page, management or location permissions. A page permission alone cannot open a disabled module. Task Lists & Inspections is off until explicitly granted.

Choose defaults for future organisations

1. Open Super Admin → Industry Templates and select the industry.
2. Review the feature defaults and any business-type overrides.
3. Save the template. New organisations use their accepted setup choices; review those choices during signup.

Template changes apply to future setup. They do not rewrite current organisations' settings, roles or explicit off choices. Changing the saved industry or business type of an existing organisation also leaves its access choices unchanged.

Turn a feature off safely

1. Return to the organisation's feature controls and disable the intended feature.
2. Save, then check that its dashboard access is unavailable.
3. If it is enabled again later, review the retained settings and records before resuming work.

Disabling a module closes its access and applicable background processing while retaining history. Other organisations and independently controlled tools keep their own settings. Specialist industry restrictions still apply.
