Use the same workforce tools for your industry

Rosters, attendance, timesheets, availability, communication, staff documents and training share one set of workflows across industries. Your organisation's locations, team roles, shift skills and saved permissions determine how those tools are used. Changing an industry label does not reset settings or switch features on.

Plan people, shifts and costs

  1. Open Settings to check locations and organisation details. Use Manage → Roles & Skills where enabled to separate team groupings from the skills needed for each shift.
  2. Review staff availability and approved leave before building the roster.
  3. Add location-based shifts, review coverage and projected wages, then publish the confirmed assignments.
  4. Review recorded hours and breaks before approving timesheets and preparing a payroll export.

Follow the detailed guides for building a roster, roles and skills, availability, approvals, clocking, timesheet approval and payroll exports.

Keep your team informed and prepared

  1. Use Messages for available conversations and Team News for organisation announcements and acknowledgements.
  2. Publish shared documents, create training register entries and record manager-verified completion, and manage verified Compliance records where those features are enabled. Training does not deliver interactive lessons.
  3. Keep staff profiles current and review audit history when checking changes.

See Messages, Team News, documents, training, Compliance, audit trails and backups for the important steps and access rules.

Add optional operational tools

Super Admin can separately grant shared Operations tools and Task Lists & Inspections. For example, Retail may use opening checks, Cleaning may use end-of-service checks and Construction may use a site preparation list. These are configurable operational checklists, not a guarantee of regulatory compliance.

Multi-location Runs, Private Shift Notes and food-operation Temperature Records are available only to the supported industries shown in Super Admin. Temperature tools are for food recording points; they are not general equipment or clinical monitoring. The NDIS workforce pack and its specialist repeat/export tools remain NDIS-only. Keep clinical records, emergency response, stock control, invoicing and regulated sign-off in the systems responsible for them.

See Feature access and industry setup for existing-organisation grants and new-organisation defaults.

Also available separately: Photos & Signatures and Within-shift Allocations. Work Photos, Staff Signatures and Within-shift Allocations each have an independent Super Admin switch and optional future industry setup default.
